Barcode Software
Look here for "legal"
action.
If you are from Digital Convergence or Kenyon and Kenyon, please read this letter and
respond.
Because only a few authors of CueCat software have gotten The Letter, and now
ReaderWare is apparently shipping its software with CueCat decoder abilities, and you
have never explained what it is that I am doing wrong, I can only conclude that I am doing nothing wrong. Otherwise, you surely
would have told me specifically what to stop doing, and also gone after all the other people making and distributing CueCat
software. I eagerly await your reply. I will know when you have seen it. I am
also mailing it to you.
;Cue;Feline Software
- FooCat BarCode, version 0.1.2. This
contains three programs and a common library. "Decode" is a command-line
program that accepts scans on stdin and writes decoded output to stdout.
Output includes Amazon and Cue info.
Foocat-applet is a Gnome Panel Applet that
sits in the panel and displays the results of scans. It also opens
Netscape to the Cue url. This package was one known as "cuecat decoder."
- ReaderWare supports
the CueCat, as of August 23rd.
Other Software
- The Gnome panel applet included with my decoder
- FooCat-GTK (See right). Coming soon!
- some other stuff, I'm sure (email me).
